The fair is a curfewed event — no entry or parking is permitted after 9 p.m., and guest drop-off and pickup is handled at Gate 2. Barns and buildings close two hours before the grounds close, and the fair is designated a no-colors event.

Presale single-day admission is $11 for adults (full price $15), and $7 for juniors ages 6-11 and seniors 65 and older (full price $9 each). Children 5 and under get in free with a paid adult, and active-duty military are admitted free with valid ID. General parking presale is $8. Unlimited ride wristbands are $35 presale, or $55 with front-of-the-line access. A family meal deal — four corn dogs, four fountain drinks, a cotton candy bucket and a large shareable popcorn, valued at $111 — is $55 presale, and a $100 game-credit pass is $55 presale. Wheelchair and wagon rentals are $15 at the In-FAIR-mation Booth near the Main Entrance.

The fair’s concert series includes Justin Moore on Thursday, Sept. 24, at 7:30 p.m.; Fuel, with Eve 6 and The Ataris, on Friday, Sept. 25, at 7:10 p.m.; Brothers Osborne on Saturday, Sept. 26, at 7:30 p.m.; and the 90’s Corridos Tour, headlined by Lupillo Rivera with Dueto Voces del Rancho, on Sunday, Sept. 27. The fair closes Sunday, Oct. 4, with “El Jaripeo Más Grande del Año,” a three-hour production combining a traditional jaripeo ranchero with live music from Banda San Miguel, a horseback performance by Regional Mexican artist El Puma de Sinaloa, and a closing baile ranchero set from Graciela Beltrán, Banda R-15 and others. Tickets are $22.
