BARSTOW — The Barstow Chamber of Commerce will host the Main Street USA Festival & Car Show on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 9-10, along historic Route 66 in downtown Barstow.
Friday’s events include the National Route 66 Pageant and a theater production of “The Grapes of Wrath” at the Historic Harvey House. Saturday’s 27th annual Main Street USA Festival features vintage cars, live music, a beer garden, kid-friendly activities and vendors lining the historic downtown streets, along with the Saturday Night Cruisers’ 27th annual car show.
The event is co-hosted by the Saturday Night Cruisers, the Barstow Chamber of Commerce Tourism Committee, the city of Barstow and the Miss Route 66 Pageant. Admission to the festival is free.
