EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE — More than 500 job seekers met with 52 employers at the Fall 2026 Hiring Fair at the Military and Family Readiness Center on Thursday, Sept. 17.
The 412th Force Support Squadron hosted the event for people seeking federal jobs, transitioning from military life or moving into the private sector. Participating employers represented public safety, school districts, healthcare and the aerospace and defense industry. Openings ranged from entry-level administrative positions to specialized aerospace engineering roles.
“The event exceeded expectations,” said Olga Duran, a Work and Life consultant with Military and Family Readiness. “Participants had many opportunities, from meaningful career conversations to on-the-spot interviews.”
Organizers recommend that job seekers follow up quickly with recruiters.
